Sister Mary Karen assigned us to write a paper on a French artist, which greatly sparked my interest and was much later rekindled. As a late bloomer, I earned a B.A. degree in Art History and French and completed a year-long Certificate Program at Alliance Francais in France. I then went on to New York University for the Appraisal Studies Program and became an appraiser of fine arts and antiques. Now, I teach at the college level and have an interior design business. But I especially delight in my four wonderful grandchildren.
