I hung around the Capital District and worked in human services for 25 years. Most of that work was with people living in poverty. Of course I made a bundle of money doing that but decided that working in government (NYS DOH) would bring me unimaginable delights.

What delights I don't get at work I get with my wife of nearly thirty years, music, gardening, hiking and backpacking, dabbling in the arts, volleyball, running and kicking my brother's ass at various road races.
